Texas A&M Gunman Scare Attributed To Replica Weapon

COLLEGE STATION (GaeaTimes.com)- The Texas A&M University located in College Station braced itself for a rather bizarre incident on Thursday when the campus partially shut down while a ‘Code Maroon’ alert was issued by the university authorities in the wake of suspicion that a suspected gunman was present inside the campus. The incident grabbed all the more attention as at that time former U.S. President George Bush Sr, his wife Barbara Bush as well as former first lady Laura Bush were in the university for a special event.

The scare inside the Texas A&M University campus was sparked after a bus driver told university authorities that he had seen a man roaming inside the campus carrying what seemed like an AK-47 rifle. The A&M officials further revealed that the suspected gunman was walking down the Rudder Tower towards the western part of the campus when he was supposedly seen by the driver.
