LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles police have arrested a second suspect wanted in the killing of an employee at a medical marijuana dispensary.
The Los Angeles Times reports the U.S. Marshal’s Service and Los Angeles police arrested Raymond Easter without incident Friday afternoon at a Van Nuys apartment.
The victim, 27-year-old Matthew Butcher, was working at Higher Path Holistic Care on June 24 in the city’s in Echo Park neighborhood when at least two suspects entered looking for marijuana and cash.
Butcher and another employee were ordered to lay face-down on the ground and did not resist, but both were shot anyway. Butcher died from his injuries.
