NEW YORK — In a story Aug. 10 about a car crash that killed a girl being taken to a slumber party, The Associated Press misstated the timeframe for a planned meeting between the girl’s father and U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood. The meeting is set for next month, not next week.
