Pa. man admits killing worker in NJ casino in 2009

MAYS LANDING, N.J. — A man says he stalked and killed a worker last year at Atlantic City’s Taj Mahal Resort because he believed the casinos had electronically manipulated table games.

Mark Magee pleaded guilty to murder Monday and faces at least 30 years in prison before parole.

Magee admitted he walked into a card and dice room, pulled out a pistol and opened fire on 57-year-old Ray Kot in May 2009.

The Norristown, Pa., resident told the court that he believed casinos had cheated him for years.
