Report: Guard shoots man outside Ukrainian Embassy

ISTANBUL — A television report says a security officer guarding the Ukrainian Embassy in Istanbul has shot a man who claimed to be armed and carrying a bomb.

It was not immediately clear if the man was killed.

Private NTV television says the man tried to enter the embassy building.
