Pa. board suspends license of Del. pediatrician
DOVER, Del. — Pennsylvania authorities are indefinitely suspending the medical license of a Delaware pediatrician accused of sexually assaulting more than 100 of his patients.
The Pennsylvania Board of Medicine issued an order Tuesday suspending Earl Bradley’s medical license because of the charges against him Delaware. His Pennsylvania license has been inactive since 2002.
The board noted that Pennsylvania law allows it to take action against a doctor who has been subject to disciplinary action in another state.
Bradley is being held in lieu of $2.9 million bail. He is charged with sexually abusing 103 patients from 1998 through last year.
His attorney has indicated that the criminal case could center on Bradley’s mental health.
