2 sheriff’s deputies shot in N. California
FRESNO, Calif. — Authorities say two Fresno County deputies have been shot during an unspecified investigation in Northern California.
Sheriff’s spokesman Chris Curtice says he did not know the condition of the deputies who were shot Thursday, but they have both been taken to a hospital.
Authorities say the shooter fired more shots after barricading himself in a house that has been surrounded in the community of Minkler.
He had no further details. It was unclear if any other people were inside the home.
