Bill Clinton has stents placed in coronary arteryWASHINGTON — Former President Bill Clinton was hospitalized Thursday after experiencing heart discomfort and had two stents placed in a coronary artery, an adviser said. The adviser, Douglas Band, said Clinton was in ‘good spirits’ after undergoing the procedure at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Clinton had quadruple bypass surgery in 2004 to open four blocked arteries.
