Probation for ‘Hills’ Stephanie Pratt
LOS ANGELES — Court records show Stephanie Pratt will serve three years of informal probation after pleading no contest to a lesser charge in a drunken driving case.
Pratt, who appears on MTV’s “The Hills,” pleaded no contest to a charge of exhibition of speed in a Los Angeles court Thursday. She was arrested in October in Hollywood and charged with drunken driving.
Pratt’s attorney, Jon Artz, says the plea deal was reached because there was no evidence Pratt was driving impaired. Artz says he thinks it’s a fair resolution to the case and Pratt has learned a “valuable lesson” about the dangers of drinking and driving.
The records show Pratt has agreed to attend Alcoholics Anonymous classes as part of the plea agreement.
The sentence was first reported by People.com.
