Police: Office burglars eat candy, surf for porn

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — Police say whoever broke into several Pennsylvania offices over the holidays ate candy left at workers’ desks and food from a break-room refrigerator and looked at pornography on computers.

Eleven burglaries were reported over a 10-day period starting Dec. 21 in New Cumberland. Several hundred dollars in cash were stolen from several of the businesses.

Investigators say in most cases, burglars pried open a back or side door at night. Police Chief Joe Spadaccino says no suspects have been identified.

New Cumberland is about four miles south of Harrisburg.
