Police request help solving NJ shooting

EAST ORANGE, N.J. — New Jersey authorities are asking for help in their hunt for a man who opened fire at a party early Saturday, killing a Seton Hall University student and wounding four other partygoers.

East Orange police say there was no arrest by late Sunday morning in the shooting that occurred about a mile from the campus in West Orange.

Near the home where the shooting took place, an electronic sign asks people with information about the shooting to call police. It also advertises a $10,000 reward.

The slain student was 19-year-old Jessica Moore, of Disputanta, Va. The others who were wounded — including three other Seton Hall students — did not have life-threatening injuries.
