STORY REMOVED: US–Chief’s Missing Daughter

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Associated Press has withdrawn its story about the arrest of a suspect in the killing of a North Carolina police chief’s daughter. The story incorrectly stated that the suspect had been convicted of rape in the 1990s, when he was actually convicted of first-degree sexual abuse.
