Acid Attack Victim Released From Hospital

PORTLAND (GaeaTimes.com)- Bethany Storro, the 28-year-old woman who was attacked by an unidentified woman who threw caustic acid on her face, has been released from the Portland medical facility where was admitted following the gruesome incident. The woman who lives in Vancouver, Washington went home on Sunday after she was released from the Legacy Emanuel Hospital after undergoing treatment for about a week.

The police authorities in Vancouver are still in the lookout for the woman who carried out the acid attack on Bethany Storro on Monday night when she was getting something out of the truck of her car. The woman who has been described as an African-American suddenly approached her and asked her whether she wanted to drink the contents of the cup that she was holding. Before Bethany Storro could realize anything, the woman threw the contents of the container on her face and ran away. The 28-year-old woman was immediately rushed to a medical facility and fortunately she did not lose her eyesight as she was wearing a sunglass which she had brought just before the attack. The doctors at the Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon conducted a re-constructive surgery on her last Wednesday in which the dead skins from the injured areas of her face were removed. However, the identity of the woman who carried out the acid attack still remains unknown.

The acid attack victim told reporters that she has divulged intrinsic details of the incident so that the authorities are able to catch the assailant before she attacks any other innocent person.
