Bethany Storro Talks About Assailant

VANCOUVER (GaeaTimes.com)- Bethany Storro became the center of media attention after the reports of the gruesome acid attack on the 28 year old started emerging. Bethany Storro and her mother were heading to a Starbucks on Monday when an unknown woman walked up to her and threw a cup of acid on her face. As Bethany Storro stumbled to the ground in pain, the assailant ran away. The attack has left most of Bethany Storro’s face completely burned. Doctors have revealed that the acid was pH 1 and had even burned through Bethany Storro’s second layer of skin. She is presently undergoing treatment for the burns and will reportedly need skin grafts to get her face back.

The attack has, however, not broken Bethany Storro’s indomitable spirit. She revealed to the media that a disease in her childhood had made her almost deaf and then added that if she would have been blinded too, it would have been hard for her parents. Her eyes were spared from the acid’s effects as she was wearing her newly purchased sunglasses. She also explained that the acid was so strong that she felt it burn through her second layer of skin and disintegrate her blouse on contact.

Bethany Storro has revealed that she would like to confront her attacker and ask her the reason for the attack. The assailant, who is yet to be arrested, will be charged with assault and battery and may even face the charge of attempted murder. Police are looking for a woman between 25 to 35 with ponytail. She was wearing khaki shorts and a green shirt at the time of the attack.
