3rd set of human remains found in eastern Pa. home
READING, Pa. — Investigators have discovered a third set of human remains at an eastern Pennsylvania apartment where they found the remains of an infant and a fetus in a cooler late last month.
Investigators said Thursday they removed the latest set of remains from a block of concrete found in a closet.
A woman who lives at the Berks County apartment has been charged with a third count of abuse of a corpse. She’s being held on $5 million bail.
Authorities say the concrete block was found July 29, the day investigators found the other remains.
The third set of remains was removed from the block on Wednesday. Authorities are conducting DNA tests.
