The charges against the pair of men with regard to the murder of the Troy couple was rejected by Rensselaer County Judge Robert Jacon after the prosecutors brought an end to the opposition of the defense motion to drop the charges against the two men. The verdict came as a respite to Bryan Berry and Terrence Battiste who are at present serving terms withe respect to certain unrelated drug conviction. One of the prime reasons which led the judge to give the ruling in favor of the two men was the fact that there was no physical evidence which might link them with the Troy double murder case. Moreover, the investigators have been able to find DNA evidences that links a new suspect, 40-year-old Michael Mosley to the killing of the couple. The DNA of Michael Mosley, who has a criminal record, matched the DNA samples that was collected from the scene of the crime.
27-year-old Samual “Frost” Holley and his girlfriend, Arica Lynn Schneider, 18 were found dead in their apartment in the city of Troy in New York state. The couple were stabbed after being beaten mercilessly.
