CHANDIGARH, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Chandigarh Housing Board website was hacked on Saturday. Reportedly, the Chandigarh Housing Board officials noticed the National flag of Pakistan being displayed all across the website. Along with the national flag of Pakistan there were also several writings all carrying abusive terms addressed towards one and all from Chandigarh Administration. Chandigarh Housing Board officials said that they have no clue about how the website has hacked but they are looking in to the matter and shall soon fix the issue.
As users tried to log in from the main page of Chandigarh Housing Board website it showed that all data has been automatically wiped off from the page. Apart from the main data on the home page of the website, all home page links turned into “pakhaxors.com” and “Shak Z company hackers” was written on the webpage. The “Ongoing Projects” link and the “Tenders’ link depicted an error message which said that there was no record available for the links. As a matter of fact, the Chandigarh Housing Board has put information for the latest slum rehabilitation project which they are handling but even the new data couldn’t be found anywhere on the website. Information regarding the Chandigarh Housing Board General Housing Society had also vanished from its place.
The Chandigarh Housing Board officials told the media that they are tying to fix the issue as fast as possible.
