Spouse of FBI agent’s alleged killer pleads guilty
PITTSBURGH — The husband of a woman accused of killing an FBI agent near Pittsburgh has pleaded guilty to his role in a cocaine conspiracy.
Forty-one-year-old Robert Korbe pleaded guilty Friday to being one of 35 people involved in a drug ring. Authorities say it moved more than 10 pounds of cocaine in the year before his home was raided in November 2008. Korbe also pleaded guilty to illegally possessing firearms.
His wife, Christina, is charged with shooting FBI agent Samuel Hicks as he came through the couple’s front door in Glenshaw, just north of Pittsburgh. She says she fired because she feared Hicks was an intruder.
She remains jailed while awaiting trial on criminal homicide charges.
