West Memphis Police Officers Killed

Bill Evans and Brandon Paudert had stopped a vehicle carrying an Ohio license plate and while they approached the vehicle for further inspection, two men carrying AK 47’s started firing at them which turned out to be a fatal one for the West Memphis Police Officers. After the incident was reported, West Memphis Police locked down the I-40 and I-55 portion and combed searched each and every vehicle. Following a trail on the suspects, West Memphis Police officers finally spotted them in the Arkansas Walmart parking lot.
Crittenden County sheriff Bob Paudert who happens to the father of the dead Brandon Paudert were present was present during the shootout. The sheriff told the media that both his son and Bill Evans were the best officers of West Memphis Police and the department shall always remember them. As a father and a sheriff himself he is proud of the fact that his son embraced death while he was on duty. Speaking on the same note Mike Beebe who happens to be the governor of Arkansas said that the West Memphis Police Department has lost two of their bravest officers. He expressed his condolence for the sheriff and said that the incident has once again proved the supremacy of West Memphis Police against all odds and enemy.
