Cops probing Md. mom’s death find body of Pa. girl

WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Pennsylvania state troopers investigating the slaying of a missing Maryland woman have found the remains of a second homicide victim.

State police said Thursday they found the skeletal remains of 17-year-old Angie Lynn Daley of Waynesboro in a wooded area in Waynecastle around noon Tuesday.

Daley had been missing since 1995. Her death was ruled a homicide. Police say she died of blunt force trauma.

The discovery came just hours after police found the body of 29-year-old Kristy Dawn Hoke, a mother of three from Hagerstown, Md. She had been reported missing over Easter weekend and was found stabbed to death.

Police have charged a 47-year-old man from State Line, Pa., with criminal homicide in Hoke’s killing, but he has not been linked to Daley’s death. State Line is near the Pennsylvania-Maryland border.
