Accused gunmen in triple slaying pleads not guilty
WHEATON, Ill. — A 24-year-old man has pleaded not guilty in the shooting deaths of three members of a suburban Chicago family last month.
During a hearing Wednesday in DuPage County, Jacob Nodarse (no-DAHR-see) entered his plea to 23 counts of first-degree murder, conspiracy, home invasion and obstruction of justice.
DuPage County authorities allege that Nodarse carried out the slayings at the request of a friend, Johnny Borizov, who’d asked him to kill his ex-girlfriend and her family in their Darien home.
Killed were Jeffrey Kramer, Lori Kramer and their 20-year-old son Michael Kramer. Borizov’s ex-girlfriend, Angela Kramer, escaped injury by hiding in a closet.
Borizov, who also has been charged, has pleaded not guilty.
