2 charged with murder in Calif. dragging death

WESTMINSTER, Calif. — Two teenagers have been charged with murder in the death of a woman who was dragged by a car after being robbed during a soured drug deal in Southern California.

Eighteen-year-old Christopher Yu and 19-year-old Lynn Quach were charged Tuesday in Orange County. Each remains jailed without bail.

Police say they met 38-year-old Tuyet Thi Huynh at a Westminster park Saturday on the pretense of making a drug deal.

Prosecutors say Yu grabbed the woman’s purse full of cash and drove off while her arm was tangled, and she was dragged for a mile before falling.
