ORLANDO, Fla. — Police say a man shot and wounded a cashier at a crowded Florida supermarket and then fatally shot himself in the parking lot.

An Orlando police department news release says the shooting occurred Tuesday night. The undentified man was standing in line when he shot a female cashier and then ran outside.

Police say that when the man was confronted by an officer, he shot and killed himself. The woman was taken to a hospital, where she was being treated for life-threatening injuries.

Police say the shooting appears to be related to a domestic dispute.

No customers were injured.
