Correction: Human Trafficking story

COLUMBUS, Ohio — In a story Feb. 10 about human trafficking in Ohio, The Associated Press incorrectly spelled the surname of Ohio’s attorney general. His correct name is Richard Cordray, not Condray.

The story said that 45,000 to 50,000 people were brought into the United States for forced labor or sex, according to a 2001 report from the U.S. State Department. It should have included more recent figures from a 2004 Justice Department study estimating the trafficking victims at between 14,500 and 17,500 people.
