Mich. woman charged with exploiting daughter

MONROE, Mich. — A Michigan woman has been charged with sexually exploiting her daughter after investigators found explicit photos of the girl on a convicted sex offender’s computer.

The FBI says James Frazee of Monroe created a paid Web site up to eight years ago to display photos of the girl.

Investigators say the girl’s mother would collect customers’ money orders from Western Union offices.

The criminal complaint says the photos were taken over several years and last refers to the girl as age 12.

Frazee was charged Tuesday with production and possession of child pornography.

The 45-year-old woman also appeared in court. She is in custody until a detention hearing Wednesday.

The Associated Press is not naming her because that would identify her daughter.
