Police: 3 dead, 2 hurt in Ga. business shooting

KENNESAW, Ga. — Police are saying three people have been killed and two others are injured in a shooting at a truck rental office in suburban Atlanta.

Cobb County police spokesman Joe Hernandez says the lone gunman is in custody. He says the suspect fled the scene Tuesday in a pickup truck and was arrested about a mile from the Penske Truck Rental facility in suburban Kennesaw. That’s about 25 miles northwest of Atlanta.

Hernandez says the gunman was wearing camouflage.

KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) — Police say two people have been killed and at least two others are injured in a shooting at a truck rental office in suburban Atlanta.

Officer Joe Hernandez with Cobb County police tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution the shooter is in custody. There were conflicting reports about the number of injured.

Hernandez told FOX 5 television in Atlanta that five people had been shot and two were killed.

Hernandez says police believe there was only one shooter.

The shooting happened at a Penske Truck Rental facility in suburban Kennesaw, about 25 miles northwest of Atlanta.
