Theresa Parker’s Dead Body Found

LAFAYETTE (GaeaTimes.com)- The friends and family of Theresa Parker, who had been missing since 2007 were shocked to hear that her body has been found along the Chattooga river on Monday. The media sources reported that the police got a call from a farmer who discovered his body while he had been going through the area near state border. Various investigating agencies have worked together to find the missing woman after she suddenly disappeared in 2007, however, they could not find any updates about her.

The police released a statement where it was stated that Theresa Parker’s body has been identified by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation after the forensic evidence. However, the police refused to divulge any more details about Theresa Parker. On the other hand police had previously arrested her former husband Sam Parker for murdering her last year and he was sentenced to life prison, however, at that time the police could not find her body. The family members reported that the couple was about to get divorced but before that she disappeared on March 2007.

Theresa Parker’s ex husband, however, did not comment anything after her body has been found. Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson called it a “miracle” that the farmer “stumbled” upon her skeletal remains and then reported to the police. The farmer reportedly found jawbones and other remains of Theresa Parker’s body. The Police did not say anything about the cause of the death. However, David Ashburn, the director of the 911 center said that Theresa Parker’s friends and family members are informed about the body. He commented that it is “great” that everyone has the answer but at the same time it is “terrible” that as her loved ones did not expect this “answer”.
