Autopsy: Ga. antifreeze killer committed suicide

ATLANTA — An autopsy has concluded a woman who killed her husband and later her boyfriend by poisoning them with antifreeze committed suicide in prison.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says Wednesday the autopsy found that Lynn Turner died Aug. 30 after an overdose of her prescription blood pressure medication.

The former 911 operator from north Georgia was convicted nine years after the 1995 killing her husband, Glenn Turner. Authorities first thought he died of natural causes, but reopened the investigation in 2001 after her boyfriend, Randy Thompson, was found to have been poisoned.

Prosecutors say she killed the men to profit from their life insurance policies.
