Indian thrown out of bus over fair dispute, dies

A constable succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital in Bihar after being thrown out of a government bus over fair dispute, police said today.

Police said Harsh Narayan Jha, a constable from Assam Rifles, was on Tuesday travelling by a state government bus when he engaged in an altercation with the driver and conductor who later threw him out of the bus.

“The bus driver and conductor threw the constable out of the bus over fair dispute. The victim died later in course of treatment”, a police official said from Sitamarhi district in Bihar state where the incident occured.

The victim had ridden on the bus in Muzaffarpur to reach Sitamarhi but was killed midway.
