Fla. prosecutors reviewing case against Holmes
ORLANDO, Fla. — Prosecutors are reviewing the case against Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Santonio Holmes, who is accused of throwing a glass at a woman.
Orlando Police spokeswoman Sgt. Barbara Jones says findings of its investigation were submitted Friday to the Orange-Osceola State Attorney’s Office for a review and decision on whether to file charges. Further details of the investigation were not released.
A message left for the state attorney’s office was not immediatley returned.
Anshonae Mills filed a lawsuit last month claiming Holmes threw a glass at her, cutting her above the eye. In the lawsuit, she said Holmes and a police officer intimidated her so she wouldn’t press charges.
Mills changed her mind, and the case was reopened by the Orlando police.
