Moscow Blasts Claim 37 Lives

MOSCOW, RUSSIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The Russian capital Moscow, which is one of the busiest cities of the country had been in a complete state of shock on Monday morning as twin blasts had rocked two important subway stations of the country. People in the Russian capital had started this Monday like any other normal day as they did not have any clue of this fatal incident that was awaiting their fate. It has been reported that the first explosion was witnessed in the subway station of Lubyanka, where around 25 people has reportedly died and 20 others were injured.

According to the reports, the group, which has masterminded these two attacks did not give the authorities much time to respond and the second blast in Moscow has reportedly occurred at an interval of half an hour to forty minutes. The second blast, which had occurred at the Park Kultury station reportedly turned out to be less in impact than the first blast but has claimed the lives of 12 commuters still. It has been reported that around twenty people have been injured in this explosion.

Emergency crews immediately responded to the place of incidence for rescuing the people who were injured in the attacks. Investigations of both the blast attempts are in progress and details are expected to surface with time. As per the latest reports, the blasts have been conducted by suicide bombers, who were reportedly women. Authorities have declared this as a terrorist attack yet they have not named any group related to these explosions as none of the groups have claimed the responsibility of the blasts in Moscow.
