2 Little Rock officers shot while serving warrant

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Authorities say two police officers and two suspects were shot while the officers were trying to serve a search warrant for drugs at a home in Little Rock, Ark.

The shooting occurred around 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Authorities say neither officer suffered life-threatening injuries. One was shot in the leg and the other was shot in the stomach, but his protective vest prevented serious injury.

A third officer was injured when a second-floor railing gave way and he fell to the ground.

Police say two suspects inside the home also were shot. One is listed in good condition and the other is in serious condition.
