NH man pleads guilty in deadly home invasion

NASHUA, N.H. — A New Hampshire man has pleaded guilty to hiding evidence and concocting an alibi for two other men charged with killing a woman during an October home invasion.

Twenty-year-old Autumn Savoy entered the plea Friday to hindering prosecution and conspiracy in exchange for a recommended sentence of 8 1/2 to 19 years in prison. Savoy has agreed to testify for the prosecution.

Savoy is charged with helping co-defendants Steven Spader and Christopher Gribble throw evidence into the Nashua River and with telling investigators the pair spent the night at his home.

The defendants are among five young men charged in connection with the killing of Kimberly Cates and an attack on her 11-year-old daughter inside their home.
