Man to cooperate in NH machete murder case
NASHUA, N.H. — One of five New Hampshire men charged in a fatal attack on a woman at her home has pleaded guilty to robbery and other charges.
Prosecutors say the men, one armed with a machete and the others with knives, picked an isolated Mont Vernon home at random and entered it intending to kill in a middle-of-the-night attack.
Eighteen-year-old Quinn Glover of Amherst entered the guilty plea Monday as part of an agreement with prosecutors during an appearance in Hillsborough County Superior Court in Nashua. Prosecutors are recommending a 20-year-prison sentence.
Glover is expected to cooperate with prosecutors in the cases against the others charged in the Oct. 4 death of Kimberly Cates and attack on her 11-year-old daughter Jaimie.
Three men are facing first-degree murder among other charges.
