GHAZIABAD - Unidentified armed robbers looted passengers on Delhi-bound Mussoorie Express Saturday, critically injuring two of them when they tried to put up resistance, police officials said.

They said that the criminals robbed passengers in the general coach of the train between Pilkhuwa and Ghaziabad, and looted cash, jewellery and other articles.

They also stabbed two passengers who tried to resist the hoodlums.

“We have registered a case and are trying to arrest the criminals,” said Sita Ram, head clerk of the GRP police station at Ghaziabad.

The injured, identified as Naimuddin and Ishtegar, have been admitted to a hospital.
