Three killed, 35 injured in Jammu road accident

JAMMU - Three people were killed and 35 injured Friday when a bus in which they were travelling rolled down into a gorge at Paranoo in mountainous Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

A police officer said three passengers died on the spot. Of the 35 injured, three were critical.

The bus was on its way from Bhaderwah to Doda when it skidded off the road at Parnoo, nearly 200 km north-east of Jammu.

The cause of the accident was not immediately known, the police officer said.
