Insurance firm manager found dead in Ghaziabad

GHAZIABAD - The body of an insurance company manager was found lying in a drain in Ghaziabad Thursday, police said.

Deepak Teotia, 30, a manager with HDFC Standard Life, was found dead in Raj Nagar District Centre (RDC).

According to police, Teotia had been having a drink near a liquor shop Wednesday evening with his colleagues Reby John and Narendra Sharma. All of them left for their homes at around 11 p.m.

When Teotia did not reach home by 11.30 p.m., his wife Megha first called his friends and when she was unable to trace his whereabouts she informed the police Thursday morning.

Teotia’s motorcycle, wallet and mobile phone are missing, police said.
