LAS VEGAS — A British motivational speaker has been indicted on charges he killed a Las Vegas woman during a meditation session and stuffed her body in a trash barrel.
Michael Victor Lane’s court-appointed lawyer, Dan Silverstein, says Lane will plead not guilty Thursday in state court to murder and robbery with a deadly weapon charges handed up by a grand jury last Friday.
A preliminary hearing was canceled Monday.
The 37-year-old Lane is jailed on $2.26 million bail in the slaying of 44-year-old Ginger Candela.
