Five killed in Madhya Pradesh road accident

BHOPAL - Five persons, including a local BJP leader, were killed when a speeding truck hit their car in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh, police said Thursday.

The victims were on their way to Shivpuri town, 325 kms from here, late Wednesday when the accident occurred.

They have been identified as local BJP leader K.K. Mishra, Keshav Pathak, Kasturi, Arvind and Naal Singh.

The police said that a case has been registered against the truck driver, who is absconding.
