BHUBANESWAR - A factory manufacturing adulterated ghee in Jajpur district of Orissa was busted Tuesday and four people, including its owner, were arrested, a police official said.

The unit in Kuakhia town, around 85 km from here, had been manufacturing spurious ghee, oil, honey, mobil oil and phenyl for more than a year.

“They sold these off in nearby areas,” Sub-Divisional Police Officer Jayaram Satpathy told IANS.

“We have sealed the factory and arrested the owner and three of his employees. We have also seized several machines and recovered a large quantity of fake material, including over half a quintal of adulterated ghee,” he added.
