NEW DELHI - Thieves sneaked into a temple in the capital through a window at night and made away with jewellery and cash worth Rs.3 lakh (Rs.300,000), police said Wednesday.

The robbery was noticed at the Sanatan Dharam temple in west Delhi’s Paschim Vihar area when it opened Wednesday morning.

“The robbers entered the temple from a window,” a police officer said. Police have seized the closed circuit television camera from the temple to identify the culprits.
