Two arrested for raping minor in Delhi

NEW DELHI - Two youths have been arrested for raping a Class 8 student in west Delhi, police said Monday.

Ravi, 19, and Ravi Kumar, 20, were arrested for raping their neighbour Sunday.

“The two waylaid the victim and took her to an abandoned house. They raped her there and fled after that. The girl reached home and told her parents about the incident,” said a police officer.

“The girl was taken for medical examination in a government hospital where doctors confirmed rape,” the officer added.

The police arrested the two youths on the girl’s complaint.
