Three women run over by train in Madhya Pradesh

BHOPAL - Three women labourers were run over by a passenger train early Monday while they were trying to cross a railway track in Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh, police said.

The accident occurred on the district’s Kopra bridge when the women tried to cross the track even as the rail-crossing was closed for the Bina-Katni passenger train to pass.

The victims were yet to be identified but it appeared that they were labourers, a police officer said.
