Plane crashes in Jamaica, 40 hurt

HAVANA - A Boeing-737 of the American Airlines crashed Tuesday night while landing at the international airport at Kingston, Jamaica, leaving 40 passengers injured, reports from Kingston said.

“There are no reports of fatalities,” Information Minister Daryl Vaz told local media, adding the injured have been sent to hospitals.

The plane, flying from Miami, broke in two after landing at Kingston, Xinhua reported.
