PERU (GaeaTimes.com)- The mother of abducted and missing teenager Natalee Holloway, Beth Holloway reportedly met the suspect who could have killed her daughter in a Peruvian prison. Joran Van Der Sloot is held responsible for the mysterious disappearance of Natalee Holloway. The young woman disappeared in 2005 and thereafter the efforts to trace her have proved to be futile. The lawyer of Beth Holloway, John Kelly confirmed the news. It was the first time the mother of the missing teen girl saw the suspected killer of her daughter. Before her disappearance Natalee Holloway was seen with the suspect in Aruba.
Joran Van Der Sloot has proved to be inconsistent and withdrew his statement after saying that he actually killed the teenager. As per a reliable news source the mother of the missing teen, Beth Holloway met the prisoner just for a few minutes. He also killed Stephany Flores a Peruvian student and is awaiting the trail for murder. Since his lawyer was not there, the prisoner did not want to extend the meeting as it has been reported. The lady did not talk much and nether did the prisoner, eyewitnesses said. Maximo Altez who is the lawyer of the prisoner later told the media that Beth Holloway told his client that she does not harbor any malaise for him in her mind.
Reportedly Beth Holloway entered the prison to see the suspected killer of her daughter with Peter de Vries, a Dutch journalist. The latter denied reports that his career was taken away by the jail authorities or that the mother was detained.
