Talibani terrorist Mirza Khan who was nabbed by the police in Bihar in January this year had planned serial blasts in Assam and Bhopal, investigators said today.
All these have been revealed in the charge-sheet filed by the investigating police team in a local district court at Purnia.
The charge-sheet says the arrested Afghani terrorist travelled to Pakistan first time on a fake passport issued in the name of Murshad Khan.
“After Pakistan, he traveled to Bangladesh and then reached Murshidabad (West Bengal) from where he got involved in terrorist activities”, says a report published in a local vernacular daily quoting the court sources.
The report said he had been given the task to spread the base of terrorist organisation in the areas and cause a serial blast in twin Indian cities.
Investigators have said Mirza was also the mastermind of serial blast and bomb blast at Task Force Office in Hyderabad.
Mirza was arrested in January this year from Purnia railway station in eastern Bihar while trying to sneak into Bangladesh.
He is currently lodged in the high-security Bhagalpur central jail.
