Dreaded gangster with 152 criminal cases arrested

A dreaded gangster with as many as 152 criminal cases lodged against him was arrested by the Bihar police today.

Police said the dreaded gangster most wanted by the police in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh was today taken into police custody hurriedly after he surrendered before the district magistrate of Gopalganj.

The gangster who carried a reward of Rs 10 lakh on his head was facing serious offences like murder, kidnapping, extortion and loot.

Police said he was accused was the main accused in the RJD minister Brij Bihari murder case.

Police said the gangster had contested two assembly elections in the past but he always evaded arrests.
