Three killed in road accidents in Greater Noida

NOIDA - Three people were killed in two road accidents in Greater Noida Wednesday, police said.
One accident took place on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway while others occurred in Kasna town nearby.
According to police, the morning fog on the expressway was so dense that seven vehicles on the expressway collided in series.
Jagpal, 45, a resident of Loni, died on the spot while his accomplices Suresh, Ajit, Vinod and Suraj Nath suffered critical injuries and were taken to the Noida-based Vinayak Hospital.
Their vehicle collided with a dumper taking a turn near Badoli village. After the collision, six other vehicles rammed into them from behind.
The expressway was closed for two hours to clear the vehicles, said S.K. Verma, the superintendent of police.
In another accident, two people Sonu and Om Prakash, residents of Ballabgarh in Haryana, were killed when their car rammed into a stationary dumper in Kasna town. Their passenger Sarvesh was critically injured, said Verma.
