RINGGOLD, GEORGIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Tonya Craft, who has been accused of child molestation has been able to maintain her innocence in the second day of the trail as she was bombarded with the questions of the cross examiner. The defense has been put to rest in the Tonya Craft case as Len Gregor, the Asst District Attorney concluded that the rumors of conspiracy was started by Tonya Craft herself. While during the prosecution, Tonya Craft was spotted several times sipping in water and appeared nervous on the witness stands.
The kindergarten teacher is facing trial which accused her of three molestations of young girls back at her own place. It was said during the testimony that these girls were classmates of her daughter. Tonya Craft has been accused with 22 charges out which 10 are of “Child Molestation”, six are of “Aggravated Sexual Battery” and the other six are of “Aggravated Child Molestation”. The court has already deprived her of her custody for her daughter and her home has been sealed in due course of the investigation.
The case drew to a close as the prosecution peeped in to the financial records of Tonya Craft which depicted her transaction records including her legal bills amounting to $500,000. The cross prosecutors have been putting stress upon the fact that the court should abide by the testimony of the girls and not the accused. Tonya Craft case shall receive more light on Monday when the court hears the case again. The case has got very little evidence which proves physical assault. That makes it a little tough for the Tonya Craft Jury members as it banks upon their decision which shall affect the fate of the proceeding of the case.
