Man On Fire: Homeless And Ablaze

FREDERICKSBURG, VIRGINIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The police in Virginia are investigating a rather strange case of a destitute man having been set on fire in Fredericksburg, in Virginia. The police have not disclosed the identity of the man, nor have they revealed any details of him, like his name, age or whereabouts. The man claimed that he had been set on fore by someone while he was sleeping. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning of Saturday. The task of finding pout who had set fire to him, already baffling to the police has been rendered even more difficult by the man, who admitted that he id not have any clue who had been the culprit or culprits.
The police were notified on Saturday itself, sometime around 6:30 in the morning, by a passerby in Williams Street in Fredericksburg, who saw the destitute man walking about on the streets. As it was obvious that the man had been on fire, the passerby immediately dialed 911, and the police arrived shortly afterward. The man was initially taken to the Mary Washington Hospital, but later on, had to be shifted to the Medical College of Virginia, owing to the extent of his injuries.
The police reported that the man on fire had sustained some pretty serious injuries, specially on his arms and torso. However, no reports of his health have been forthcoming from the hospitals. The police are baffled about the incident, as it is no say task to ascertain why anyone should try to set fire to a homeless person. The burnt belongings of the man been retrieved from under the Chatham Bridge, where the man had been set on fire.
